Purdue to help fight ‘forever chemicals’ in economy-boosting NSF-funded Great Lakes project
Purdue University will play a significant role in the Great Lakes Water Innovation Engine (or ReNEW), a new National Science Foundation Regional Innovation Engine that aims to discover, develop and deploy novel technologies to clean the Great Lakes while also attracting water-intensive manufacturers, and new jobs, to the Midwestern region.

Notre Dame president to join Purdue President Chiang for fireside chat Thursday as part of Presidential Lecture Series
Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., who has served as president of the University of Notre Dame for nearly two decades, will join Purdue President Mung Chiang on Thursday for a fireside chat as part of the Presidential Lecture Series. The public event is at 7 p.m. in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall. While the lecture is free, a general admission ticket will be required.
