Purdue recognized as a top producer of Fulbright U.S. Scholars for third consecutive year; record-tying 8 faculty selected for 2023-24
Purdue University, for the third consecutive year and fourth time in five years, is in elite company, ranking among U.S. universities with the highest number of faculty selected for the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. The Fulbright Program, the world’s most acclaimed and prestigious international academic exchange initiative, recognized Purdue as a “top-producing institution,” with eight faculty members named Fulbright scholars for the 2023-24 academic year.

Mackey guitar
Guitar made from Mackey floor, crafted by Polytechnic student, up for auction
A one-of-a-kind instrument, crafted out of wood from Mackey Arena’s court and made by a student in Purdue Polytechnic’s popular “guitar lab,” is on the auction block through 8 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 14).
Bringing Our Best: Cole Wetzel
Cole Wetzel (Institutional Data Analytics + Assessment) created a new dashboard to help Purdue track academic course proposals launched in Curriculog. The Academic Proposal List and Counts dashboard is accessible for faculty and staff, saving time on status check emails and making more transparent in-progress and completed course and curricula proposals. Additionally, it serves stakeholders across three Purdue campuses — Purdue West Lafayette, Purdue Fort Wayne and Purdue Northwest.
