Purdue trustees approve several measures

Purdue's Board of Trustees today (Feb. 24) approved several actions, including two named appointments, a theater naming in the new Active Learning Center, renovations in Hampton Hall, two new degrees at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, a Center for Healthy Living contract, resolutions of appreciation, and a posthumous degree at IPFW.

Board approves winter recess for 2017-18

At the recommendation of President Mitch Daniels, the Board of Trustees today (Feb. 24) approved for 2017 the addition of a three-day winter recess on Dec. 27, 28 and 29 for faculty and staff on all Purdue campuses. The three days are in addition to approved University holidays already scheduled for Dec. 25 and 26, and Jan. 1 and 2, 2018.
