Purdue trustees OK University's conceptual general fund budget

The Purdue University Board of Trustees today (June 17) approved a conceptual general fund budget for fiscal year 2017 that provides allocations for strategic priorities in academic and student support and employee compensation. The full operating budget, which will be presented to trustees in October, is being developed by campus units.

Purdue University's Board of Trustees today (June 17) approved two named professorships and a certificate-granting cooperative education program in the Department of Statistics.

Trustees approve new life insurance premiums and down payment for defined contribution plan liability

Purdue's Board of Trustees today (June 17) approved a five-year renewal proposal for employee life insurance through Securian Financial Group (formerly Minnesota Life) and a down payment toward the defined contribution plan for non-exempt employees currently part of the Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF).

Purdue, IU extend management agreement for IPFW

The Purdue University Board of Trustees today (June 17) voted to renew for five years the agreement with Indiana University for the management of Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Under the approved terms, the agreement calls for a proposal for a revised governance structure to be presented to IU and Purdue trustees at their December 2016 meetings.

Trustees approve resolutions, renaming of campus golf course

The Purdue Board of Trustees today (June 17) approved resolutions of appreciation for outgoing board member John D. Hardin Jr., alumnus Brent E. Dickson, Lafayette law firm Stuart & Branigin LLP and several University donors. In addition, board members voted to rename a campus golf course that is part of the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.
