Project Impacts of beauty standards on Multiracial Americans Program Health & Human Sciences Term Academic Year 2023 Status Accepted Research Area Race and racism, Multiracial development, well-being Description The goal of the project is to examine the effects of monoracial beauty standards and exoticization on Multiracial individuals and the impact this has on psychosocial outcomes. Supervisor Annabelle Lin Atkin Mentor Annabelle Lin Atkin Type of work required The researcher will be involved in all aspects of the research process, including literature review, study conceptualization and design, data collection, data analysis, and manuscript writing. Websites Qualifications Must have at least one year of experience working as a research assistant. Research assistants who have worked in Dr. Atkin's ARISE lab are preferred.
