Archaeology and Data Science Liberal Arts Academic Year 2023 Accepted Computer Science, Archaeology Intern will help digitize records from an archaeological excavation. Responsibilities will be contingent on the intern's interests and previous experience, but may include transcribing handwritten English texts, mapping archaeological data using GIS, running simple commands on a computer via command line, and/or image pre-processing for machine learning. The supervisor will train interns in the basic skills required for these roles--no programming experience is required.
