The Black Games Archive Clarence E. Dammon Dean Academic Year 2022 Accepted English, Game Studies The Black Games Archive is a multimedia, public-facing database of games, digital resources, accessible scholarship, and designer interviews that are relevant to the intersections between Black culture and video games. The project will collect, archive, and display written posts, game clips, critical gaming sessions, and interviews. Additionally, the archive will include a robust indexed list of relevant games. Samantha Blackmon Helping to maintain the existing database by adding and categorizing games (citation information and taxonomy), capturing footage that is representative of the gameplay, and helping to maintain an annotated bibliography. Updating and maintaining the website for the project. Minimum GPA of 3.0, sophomore credit level or better, has completed ENGL 106 or equivalent, has some experience playing video games (casual/mobile games acceptable). 3 5 (estimated)
