Automation in Construction First Year Investigators Undergraduate Research Program 12-Month 2023 Accepted AI, Robotics, Construction The future of construction projects are going to be more intelligent and automated, and we at the Automation and Intelligent Construction (AutoIC) Lab are at the forefront of it. We develop AI and Robotics techniques, hardware and software systems to make the construction operations more efficient, accurate, safer, and productive. We have the best physical lab facilities in KNOY and Dudley Hall and Lambertus Hall and a ton of IPs in the field developed over the years. We also have several active National Science Foundation (NSF) projects [https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2231160&HistoricalAwards=false https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=1827733&HistoricalAwards=false https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2222838&HistoricalAwards=false https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2121967&HistoricalAwards=false] on this topic, so the best performers could be invited to join our NSF projects.
