Project Research Assistant for Human-AI Interaction Program Liberal Arts Term Academic Year 2024 Status Closed Research Area LLMs, Human-AI Interaction, Conversational Agent Description We are looking for a motivated undergraduate student research assistant, ideally majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or ECE. The ideal candidate should have some experience in full-stack development, be familiar with various technologies, and possess a foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their workings. Supervisor Hyesun Choung Mentor Type of work required This role involves working extensively with the OpenAl API, with opportunities to experiment with open-source models and frameworks, including LangChain. While we do not require expert-level knowledge, we are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, explore, and grow in this space. Our primary goal is to understand human-Al interactions in various contexts of communication, varying from advice giving to social support.
