New Media Art Research and Practice Margo Katherine Wilke Undergraduate Research Internship Program Fall 2024 Accepted Electronic and Time-Based Art, New Media Art, Art and Technology Research Internship in the production of an original new media artwork. The student intern will be involved in all stages of the development of the artwork from the discussion of project scope and content to early project mock-ups and (ideally) the realization of the final work in an exhibition-ready format. Fabian Winkler Research of relevant existing artworks and relevant hardware and software technologies. Creative coding of project mock-ups and, ideally, contributing to the code development for an exhibition-ready version of the work. There may be research and learning opportunities in the field of physical computing as well, especially related to the development of hardware circuitry and interfaces. This intern will work as a studio intern with Art&Design faculty Prof. Shannon McMullen and Prof. Fabian Winkler.
