BSL Blue Sky Summer Scholars Program Evaluation John Martinson Honors College Research Programs Spring 2024 Closed Education, Research Identity Development, Mixed Methods, Longitudinal Description: The Blue Sky Summer Scholars Program is one- week residential summer program in the John Martinson Honors College at Purdue University designed for Ivy Tech Community College Students. Summer Scholars work in collaborative groups to analyze and present findings from a faculty-led research project. This longitudinal program evaluation will examine the impact of a summer research opportunity on community college students’ aspirations and researcher identity development. Dr. Adeoye Olenloa is currently recruiting undergraduate students interested in gaining longitudinal, mixed (qualitative and quantitative) research skills.
