During the recent Directors of Financial Affairs (DFA) meeting on the West Lafayette campus Stacy Umlauf, General Ledger (Finance) project director, and Andrew Bean, business process analyst, outlined activities over the next two weeks. Their presentation listed helpful SAP T-codes and validation activities now viewable on the Business Office Go-Live Activities web page. Those responsible for creating and uploading CO Plans can find the upload template, along with other templates, via the Comptroller’s Office on the General Ledger (Finance) Upload Templates web page.     

All financial areas should review the help resources outlined on the Finance Go-Live Support – Help Resources web page. Managers and directors will be used as central points of contact for their staff and the areas they directly support. A dedicated team, as outlined in the previous Transform@Purdue News article, will be ready to help answer questions. The directors and managers have three ways to contact the team for assistance:

  1. Join the dedicated WebEx session to ask questions.
  2. Contact the dedicated WebEx phone number: 1-855-282-6330 with access code 644 591 319.
  3. Email to submit questions.

Business and financial areas are encouraged to utilize the Accounting and Financial Management Governance and training materials (QRGs) currently available on the General Ledger Training web page. The Accounting Services  and AIS web pages have been updated to provide easy access to General Ledger (Finance) training materials, the governance manual and templates. The AIS web page also points to the new Finance Launchpad, usable once SAP is live. See images below as reference.
