BoilerKey, Purdue University’s new, two-factor authentication service, will be required beginning July 1 and aligns with the Transform Purdue initiative. BoilerKey improves the security of your information and therefore offers better protection for any account information.

While streamlining and automation are keys to Transform Purdue, having a safer and more secure environment for data is important as well. Additionally, every employee who will work within the Human Capital Management (HCM) area will have to have this multi-factor authentication in order to access and work within the HCM SuccessFactors system.

With that in mind, employees are encouraged to register for their BoilerKey access. The preferred method will be to sign up using your smartphone if applicable. If not, there is an option to sign up using a physical or hard token. Visit the BoilerKey – Two Factor Authentication Service web page for more details and to request access.

Assistance with the BoilerKey service is available at each respective campus as indicated below.
