Task force partners with Human Capital Management project team to continue improving time processes

The Transform Purdue change network members attended a deep dive on time, leaves and payroll processes in November. As an outcome of the questions raised during the session, a smaller task force was created to address the identified pain points with the Time and Leave modules in SuccessFactors prior to the rollout of the new system. Members of the task force will provide input on identified issues and determine if there are any critical concerns.

Human Capital Management readiness assessment measures progress towards goals to streamline, simplify, organize and automate

The Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation project is nearing the end of its third test cycle. In order to ensure quality and instill confidence that goals are being achieved, a two-pronged risk assessment is underway by the project team. The goal of the assessment is to evaluate the current timeline and strategy of the April 1, 2018, go-live date.

Capital Projects, Maintenance transformations continue to evolve

With the successful deployment of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) transformation project in October, capital projects and maintenance staff are settling in and celebrating institutional wins, planning for the next 60 days and reflecting on the initial system traffic as shown in the slides below.

Pilot program results continue to impress at various leadership meetings

As announced in a previous article, the finance team partnered with business and finance staff from 11 areas across Purdue (seven from West Lafayette, two from Fort Wayne and two from Northwest) in a pilot program to test their strategy. Setting the stage for enhanced reporting capabilities, the results of the pilot program continue to receive positive feedback and show simplification as they are shared across the university.
