Transformation Projects

The overall transformation will roll out via a three-phased approach, with each project phase supporting the next in a multi-layered, continuous improvement cycle.  In addition, the Reporting and Technology projects -- as well as Business Process Reengineering -- work simultaneously with and in support of the other projects.

Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

Deployed in October 2017, the EAM transformation included the elimination of duplicate business processes and IT software systems by expanding SAP maintenance and capital project management functionality and decommissioning Maximo and Primavera. EAM was the first phase of three in the overall Transform Purdue initiative.

General Ledger (Finance)

General Ledger (Finance)

Deployed July 1, 2018, the General Ledger (Finance) transformation redesigns the core financial structure to a standardized structure that allows us to truly utilize SAP to create reporting opportunities needed in today’s world. Through an upgrade to cloud-based SAP S/4HANA platform, the project reduces complexity and inflexibility of financial structures.

Human Capital Management (HCM)

Human Capital Management

The HCM transformation is a transformation of the people processes from “recruit to retire” that will streamline integrated information. By upgrading the current version of SAP to SAP SuccessFactors, the current multiple systems used for time keeping, onboarding and performance management will move to one standard system.
