If a student drops their full registration prior to the start of university classes, <strong><em>100% of the tuition and fees will be reversed<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>How to drop my courses if I have a hold:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">If the student has a registration hold that is preventing the student from dropping courses prior to the start of classes for the term.&nbsp; The student can contact the Office of the Registrar (<a href=\"mailto:registrar@purdue.edu\">registrar@purdue.edu<\/a>) via their @purdue email with their request to drop the specified courses. &nbsp;Instructions on how to drop a course can be found on the Registrar website: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/registrar\/currentStudents\/HowToDrop.html\">https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/registrar\/currentStudents\/students\/HowToDrop.html<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Once the term has commenced, students will no longer be able to drop their last course:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">A student who wishes to withdraw from Purdue during any semester or summer session must do so through the&nbsp;withdrawal procedures&nbsp;laid out by the Office of the Dean of Students which can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/advocacy\/students\/withdrawal.html\">https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/advocacy\/students\/withdrawal.html<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Your Official Withdrawal date occurs on the calendar day that the withdrawal is requested online or in person through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/advocacy\/students\/withdrawal.html\">Office of the Dean of Students<\/a>. The university provides a pro-rated refund for students withdrawing within the first six weeks of classes during the fall and spring semesters. No tuition adjustments will be made to individual course drops after the sixth week of enrollment.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">NOTE: Special course fees are nonrefundable after the first week of classes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Refunds are calculated on the nonresident tuition (if applicable) and the general service portion of the fees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"font-size:18px\">Refunds of any payment activity are made via direct deposit only.
