This access is referred to as proxy access, and the person who is granted this authorization is called a myPurdue proxy. This will give them the ability to view and pay bills online.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-1c94cf19-c85b-4ccf-9771-38fd6927bec6\" class=\"accordion-title\" aria-controls=\"content-1c94cf19-c85b-4ccf-9771-38fd6927bec6\" aria-expanded=\"false\" role=\"button\">How and when do I confirm my enrollment?<\/p><div id=\"content-1c94cf19-c85b-4ccf-9771-38fd6927bec6\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Students can confirm enrollment once the initial term invoices are released.&nbsp; To confirm enrollment successfully you will need to make sure any prior term balance is paid in full.&nbsp; Please contact the Office of the Bursar if you need additional assistance or support.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-0921ca6b-ed38-4cac-a45f-a6b531ecfbab\" class=\"accordion-title\" aria-controls=\"content-0921ca6b-ed38-4cac-a45f-a6b531ecfbab\" aria-expanded=\"false\" role=\"button\">When is tuition due?<\/p><div id=\"content-0921ca6b-ed38-4cac-a45f-a6b531ecfbab\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Tuition and fees are due on the first day of each semester. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Term Late Fees:<\/strong> \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A $250 term late fee is applied to past due accounts not paid in full or enrolled within an installment plan by the 5th week of the term.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Registration Cancellation:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Failure to confirm enrollment by the first day of classes may result in registration cancellation, typically occurring within the first week of the term. Email reminders will be sent to the student\u2019s Purdue email address notifying them to review and confirm their enrollment by the appropriate deadlines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Note for Summer 2025: <\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For Summer 2025, tuition and fees are due by May 19, 2025. See below for details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can pay online through your myPurdue account with a checking or savings account as an electronic check, free of charge. Another option is to pay online with a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Credit card payments must be done online and are subject to a 3% convenience fee for processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reminder: If<strong> you use a debit card as a payment, it will go through as a credit card payment and charge the 3% processing fee.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, use the electronic check option by entering your routing number and account number from your checking account and make the payment online. Or, you can bring a check, money order, or cashier\u2019s check to room 194 in Stewart Center.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-3156e80f-a725-4a54-aeb2-fc8455b4c8bb\" class=\"accordion-title\" aria-controls=\"content-3156e80f-a725-4a54-aeb2-fc8455b4c8bb\" aria-expanded=\"false\" role=\"button\">Do you accept International credit cards?<\/p><div id=\"content-3156e80f-a725-4a54-aeb2-fc8455b4c8bb\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Yes. Credit Card payments must be made online and are subject to a non-refundable service charge of 4.25% (minimum $3) for International cards. This service charge will be added to your card payment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you use a debit card as a payment, it will go through as a credit card payment and charge the 4.25% service charge. You can bring a check, money order, or cashier\u2019s check to room 194 in Stewart Center.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-bd9f105c-257e-4612-bb5f-2be7952cca3b\" class=\"accordion-title\" aria-controls=\"content-bd9f105c-257e-4612-bb5f-2be7952cca3b\" aria-expanded=\"false\" role=\"button\">When will my refund for excess payment be sent?<\/p><div id=\"content-bd9f105c-257e-4612-bb5f-2be7952cca3b\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>In order for a refund to process, the student must be in &#8220;Accepted&#8221; status. Financial aid refunds are dependent upon financial aid having been fully processed and received by the University. The Bursar&#8217;s Office will begin the refund process once it is released to the student\u2019s account. If the refund is the result of an overpayment of a personal payment on the student\u2019s account, it is held 14 days before refunding.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-6273197f-2eda-403a-ade1-a55f6da5c29f\" class=\"accordion-title\" aria-controls=\"content-6273197f-2eda-403a-ade1-a55f6da5c29f\" aria-expanded=\"false\" role=\"button\">Where was my refund check sent, and when was it disbursed?<\/p><div id=\"content-6273197f-2eda-403a-ade1-a55f6da5c29f\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>To see when a refund was disbursed, please check your &#8220;Account Activity&#8221; on your myPurdue page. Direct deposit refunds (labeled UACH) are done every day, Monday through Friday, and take 24-48 hours to credit your bank account. Paper check refunds (labeled URFD) are done once a week, on Fridays. Contact the Office of the Bursar by calling 765-494-7570 or visiting us in Stewart Center room 194 for additional information.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-c3888811-e81a-4c74-8640-c3668e420b2d\" class=\"accordion-title\" aria-controls=\"content-c3888811-e81a-4c74-8640-c3668e420b2d\" aria-expanded=\"false\" role=\"button\">Where can I obtain historical payment information and print a receipt?<\/p><div id=\"content-c3888811-e81a-4c74-8640-c3668e420b2d\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>This information can be found through a student&#8217;s myPurdue account via Purdue&#8217;s secure payment gateway. In the &#8220;Financial&#8221; tab, under &#8220;Manage My Account,&#8221; go to the &#8220;Payment&#8221; tab and then to the &#8220;Payment History&#8221; link. From there, you can indicate the time period that you would like to search for information, or filter by various types of information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorized users, other than students, must log in through Purdue&#8217;s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/secure.touchnet.com\/C21261_tsa\/web\/login.jsp\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">secure payment gateway<\/a>&nbsp;to gain access and obtain information. Once in the account, follow the directions above.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-3aac3c8e-640b-4be4-98b6-59c294cf86ba\" class=\"accordion-title\" aria-controls=\"content-3aac3c8e-640b-4be4-98b6-59c294cf86ba\" aria-expanded=\"false\" role=\"button\">Why is there a hold on my account?<\/p><div id=\"content-3aac3c8e-640b-4be4-98b6-59c294cf86ba\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>Please visit your myPurdue account to determine which type of hold has been placed on your account. Holds are located under the &#8220;Academic&#8221; or &#8220;Financial&#8221; tabs under &#8220;Do I have any Holds?&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a &#8220;Banner Accounts Receivable&#8221; hold, please make sure it is not due to a past due balance on your account. You can check this through your myPurdue account. In the &#8220;Bills &amp; Payments&#8221; tab, under &#8220;Manage My Account,&#8221; go to the &#8220;Account Activity&#8221; tab to check current and past semesters. This should show any charges that are past due.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the hold is a &#8220;No Direct Deposit auth on file&#8221; hold, this is an internal hold to let us know that you haven&#8217;t signed up for direct deposit of refunds through myPurdue. You can access&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.purdue.edu\/apps\/idphs\/profile\/SAML2\/Unsolicited\/SSO?providerId=touchnet-prod-tbp&amp;shire=https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.touchnet.com%2FC21261_tsa%2Fweb%2Fcaslogin.jsp%3FREDIRECT_PARAMETER%3DEREFUNDS\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">direct deposit information from the secure gateway<\/a>. The sole function of this hold is to advise you that direct deposit is available for Bursar-administered accounts. It requires an additional login credential \u2013 beyond just the username and password \u2013 to gain account access.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-0df20e33-c2f8-43dd-a2b9-a2dd12682b05\" class=\"accordion-title\" role=\"button\">How do I set up TouchNet 2-Step verification?<\/p><div id=\"content-0df20e33-c2f8-43dd-a2b9-a2dd12682b05\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n\n<p>Click on Security Settings in TouchNet and select the method you wish to use to receive your code. Ie: email, text.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-10cc5fe0-ff82-4080-9003-83501743baf0\" class=\"accordion-title\" role=\"button\">Are there any mobile carriers that the 2-Step will not work with for 2-Step verification?<\/p><div id=\"content-10cc5fe0-ff82-4080-9003-83501743baf0\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n\n<p>Touchnet uses an email to text service so if you are using a cellphone for two-factor it must go through this service.\u00a0Some students are reporting that when setting up two-step verification via text message, the text message is delayed hours or in some cases days, preventing them from successfully creating an eRefund account. While TouchNet is sending the text message confirmation code out in a timely manner, it has been determined that some cell phone providers, such as T-Mobile (there may be other carriers), are starting to not support this and the messages get blocked. If this happens, call our office at 765-494-7570 to have the two-factor removed. You will then need to set up a new two-factor, we recommend that you set up a new security profile using email or Google Authenticator as the two-step verification option.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"accordion\"><p id=\"title-281c1f10-af45-4acb-8245-cd288664ceb0\" class=\"accordion-title\" role=\"button\">Are there any emails such as google or yahoo that do not work with 2-Step verification?<\/p><div id=\"content-281c1f10-af45-4acb-8245-cd288664ceb0\" class=\"accordion-content\">\n\n<p>Touchnet has reported that gmail will block the emails as spam, there could be other emails who block also.\u00a0 It is recommended that you add\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:purdue_bursar_notice@purdue.edu\">purdue_bursar_notice@purdue.edu<\/a>\u00a0to your address list so the email is not blocked. If using email such as gmail, check your spam, junk and trash folders.
