--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Freshwater streams in the Waik\u012bk\u012b ahupua\u02bba, including M\u0101noa Stream, have been heavily impacted by urbanization and invasive species.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Community partners have identified Smallmouth Bass as a major threat to native stream organisms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">\u00a0Your team has been invited to work as engineers and environmental problem-solvers alongside local scientists and community partners.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Your challenge is to design and fabricate a fishing lure that effectively targets invasive bass while minimizing harm to native species, supporting ongoing stream remediation efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- physical modeling to prototype a lure design<\/li>\n<li>Fabricate lure molds using 3D printing and injection molding<\/li>\n<li>Test and evaluate lure performance using defined success
