What to Expect

Each student in one of our residential programs will be assigned a peer mentor who is a current undergraduate student here at Purdue University. Your peer mentor will be your go-to person throughout the week if you have any questions or issues.

Sample Schedule for 1-week Programs

  • 7:00 AM - Wake Up
    Roll out of bed and head to the dining hall - or take a little extra time to get ready for the day!
  • 7:30 AM - Breakfast
    Enjoy an all-you-can eat breakfast. Maybe a bagel, eggs, fruit? Or try one of our grab-and-go options!
  • 9:30 - 11:30 AM - Morning Class Sessions
    Grab your notebook and pen, laptop, and/or tablet to prepare to take some notes. Remember - don’t be late for class.
  • 11:45 AM - Lunch
    What’s one great thing about college life? Long lunch breaks. Enjoy a leisurely lunch with friends you meet in one of our high school programs!
  • 1:30 - 5:00 PM - Afternoon Class Sessions
    Back to class! Don't be intimidated by the length of time - there will be small breaks built in throughout the afternoon. 
  • 5:00 PM - Break
  • 5:30 PM - Dinner
    Dinner time. Enjoy the unlimited portions at the dining hall. We really like the dessert bar. 
  • 7:00 - 9:00 PM - Evening Activities
    Movies, field games, trivia, and more! You will never forget the memories you make with your friends at Purdue University. 
  • 9:00 - 11:00 PM - Quiet Hours
    Students will have some down time to work on any assigned work, socialize with others, or take time to unwind.
  • 11:00 PM - Curfew
    Students must check in for curfew by 11:00 PM. Once you check in for curfew, you cannot leave your assigned residence hall room.
