The Women in Science Programs (WISP) Learning Community is open to all incoming students in the College of Science regardless of gender. Participants reside in Earhart Hall with other College of Science students and are paired with an upper-level WISP mentors. As a WISP LC participant, students have access to free WISP sponsored tutoring and attend monthly programs that expose them to industry professionals, as well as university faculty and staff. For more information about the Women in Science Programs, call (765) 494-1769, e-mail, or visit the WISP website at College of Science students are also encouraged to apply for combined participation of the WISP LC with other College of Science LCs.   • First-time beginning students admitted to the College of Science
  • This LC is not available to Honors College participants

Residential Component

  • REQUIRED in Earhart Hall
  • Your roommate in most cases will be a member of the LC; occasional exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis to allow non-LC participant roommates
  • Completing a housing contract is a separate process from applying for the LC
