Recognition and Appreciation

Student employees account for over one-third of the workforce at the West Lafayette campus and are essential in supporting University operations. They play a vital role in advancing the organization and their efforts are deeply appreciated. Managers are encouraged to celebrate their student employees and recognize the achievements of their top performers.

National Student Employment Association

The National Student Employment Association designates the second full week in April as National Student Employment Appreciation Week. This year's National Student Employment Appreciation Week is April 12-18, 2021. For additional information on this special week and resources to help you celebrate your student employees, visit www.nsea.info/nsea-week.

Additional recognition opportunities are available through the Midwest Association of Student Employment Administrators and National Student Employment Association. The process begins at the institutional level and supervisors may nominate an outstanding employee for their institutions student employee of the year.
