Campus Welcome

Returning and new undergraduate nontraditional students are invited to join our Fall 2022 Campus Welcome experience August 10th - 12th. Our program is designed to get you in touch with important resources, help you meet and connect with other Span Plan students, and build your know-how toolbox to tackle anything that comes your way! Daily Agenda

Day 1: Wednesday, August 10th

All morning sessions will take place in MRGN 121.

  • 9:00 am – 9:20 am: Welcome, Span Plan Nontraditional Student Services, Student Success Programs
  • 9:20 am – 9:40 am: Libraries and School of Information Studies
  • 9:40 am – 10:00 am: Academic Success Center
  • 10:00 am – 10:20 am: Purdue University Student Health Service (PUSH)
  • 10:20 am – 10:40 am: BREAK
  • 10:40 am – 11:00 am: Purdue University Parking
  • 11:00 am – 11:20 am: Information Technology (ITaP)
  • 11:20 am – 11:40 am: BoilerConnect
  • 11:40 am – 12:00 pm: The Purdue Writing Lab
  • 12:00 pm – 12:20 pm: CityBus Greater Lafayette
  • 12:20 pm – 12:30 pm: BREAK
  • 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: LUNCH – MRGN (MRGN CAFÉ)

  • 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: DINNER, Mad Mushroom Pizza (W State St Location)
  • 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm: BOWLING, Union Rack and Roll, Purdue Memorial Union

All morning events will take place in the Recreational Sports Center (CoRec)

  • 9:00 am – 9:30 am: Tour of CoRec (meet at Member Services desk)
  • 9:30 am – 10:00 am: Smoothies from Freshens
  • 10:00 am – 11:00 am: Mindfulness Meditation, Time and Stress Management
  • 11:00 am – 11:30 am: Nutrition and Financial Wellness
  • 11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Private Cooking Demo
