Beginner Computer Science Professional Development

This session is designed for educators with little to no experience in computer science who are interested in building foundational knowledge and exploring practical ways to bring computer science into their classrooms.
Participants will gain an understanding of what computer science is and how it can be meaningfully integrated into a variety of subjects. The session will include introductory coding activities and strategies for incorporating computer science concepts into existing lesson plans.
Attendees will receive a micro:bit device for classroom use, along with ready-to-use lesson ideas to support continued implementation. A light breakfast and lunch will also be provided.
