SVBIG Pitch Mentoring
December 7, 2025 - 8:00 PM Eastern Time
Calling All Entrepreneurs,
SVBIG (Silicon Valley Boiler Innovation Group) is a network of highly accomplished Silicon Valley professionals who are proud Purdue alumni. SVBIG offers invaluable mentorship to Purdue-affiliated startups selected through its biannual "Pitch for Mentors" Competition, held each year in late fall and late spring.
We invite interested entrepreneurs from Purdue to complete the SVBIG Mentoring Application, available here:
The application is a brief, one-page form and must be submitted online. The deadline for this semester is December 7, 2025. After reviewing all applications, SVBIG will invite five to six startups to participate in the upcoming Pitch Competition, scheduled for January 29, 2025.
SVBIG mentorship has a strong track record of advancing successful Purdue startups. Our goal is to create meaningful mentorship connections between emerging Purdue ventures and our experienced Silicon Valley volunteers—who include startup founders, venture capitalists, and intellectual property attorneys. Mentor relationships are based on mutual interest and typically involve a minimum of six months of pro bono, unbiased guidance.
