The Land of Fire and Ice. 
Trip Dates: March 13-21, 2020  

Our world has never been smaller, and traveling is crucial to your education.  The itinerary will be a mix of culture, history, science, energy, education, hands-on activities, and yes, fun stuff too.  Highlights include:

  • deCODE Genetics-the Human Genome  
  • Hellisheiði Geothermal Powerplant  
  • Lava Center Experience  
  • Seljalandsfoss, Skogarfoss, & Gullfoss Waterfalls  
  • Þingvellir National Park-The Golden Circle Tour  
  • Cooking Class-Cooking a Traditional Dish

  • National, Perlan, and Viking Museums  
  • Relax in the Blue Lagoon

The Intercultural Passport Project
The Intercultural Competence Passport Project   
  • Earn intercultural certification and increase cultural skills that employers and graduate schools look for.   
  • Earn 6 badges in 6 -1 hour 15 minute sessions on Thursday afternoons, 3:00-4:15.   
  • Begins August 29 – 3:00-4:15 in Beering 1222 Come check it out! Attending the first session does not obligate you to come to the others.
