Learning Beyond The Classroom
Build Your Portfolio --- Learning Beyond the Classroom
  • Use your LBC reports when preparing  for interviews or writing applications for internships, jobs, and graduate and professional schools.
  • There are many more pursuits in which you could have taken part that are eligible for LBC points. Take a look at the tables that are on the CoS website (http://www.science.purdue.edu/lbc) or at the LBC Blackboard site (https://mycourses.purdue.edu/) to determine whether what you have done fits the criteria.
  • If you have submitted a report, check and see if you have been asked to supply more information.  If you find that you have received “0” points on a report, click on your score and you will see what questions you have been asked to answer.  Resubmit your report with the required information so that your LBC points can be updated.
  • In preparation for the transition of LBC to Brightspace, please make sure that you have copies of all the reports you have submitted. Although we don’t anticipate losing anything, it is a big job and we’d rather play it safe. If you are graduating in May and want your reports for future reference for applications, interviews, etc. download copies before you are locked out of the system.
