Purdue Global Science Partners go Bollywood

The Global Science Partners brought their dancing shoes for Feb. 18’s meeting at Earhart Hall.

The dozens of science students learned about India’s history and customs from Computer Science freshman Arjun Bagla before practicing up-tempo, high-energy steps of Bollywood-style dancing, led by Computer Science junior Anant Goel. After several tries, the students got the kicks, slides, snaps and claps down to the beat of fast electronic music.

The dancers were then treated to chocolate coins in red envelopes to help celebrate the Lunar New Year.
