Continuing Students Scholarship Opportunities

University Scholarships and Financial Aid

The Division of Financial Aid awards merit and need-based scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study opportunities. To maximize consideration for all federal, state, and institutional funds, students should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15th for the following academic year. Applications completed after this date may result in student ineligibility for certain types of state financial aid. Continuing student financial aid notifications begin in July of each year.

COLLEGE of SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP Application

Continuing student scholarships are determined by scholarship committees in each department and at the College level. While a majority of scholarships only require completion of the College of Science Scholarship Application, in several instances, additional documentation may be requested. Requests of information will be sent by a scholarship committee to qualified students via their Purdue email addresses.

Students will complete the Continuing Student Scholarship Application to receive scholarship consideration. Applications should be completed well in advance of the deadline, February 1, to prevent issues with the submission of an application. Application Questions may be reviewed prior to submission.

Students are also strongly encouraged to complete their personal profile in Scholarship Universe to view and apply for external (non-Purdue-related) scholarships. Scholarship Universe will suggest awards/scholarships (including Purdue scholarships) based on each student's profile.

Note: Only students receiving a scholarship award will be notified of the outcome of the scholarship process. Continuing students should not contact the College of Science to inquire about the scholarship awarding process.
