Let's Talk Sustainability Education at Purdue

Description

Do you currently teach or are you interested in learning more about teaching courses or course units with content related to sustainability development goals? In this discussion-oriented event, you will have the opportunity to meet faculty from across campus who teach or are interested in topics related to sustainability. We will provide an overview of Purdue’s Environmental and Sustainability Studies Certificate, discuss ways you as faculty/instructors may want to advance sustainability education on campus, and elicit input from you about your interest and needs in this area.

Faculty and teaching staff from all colleges are encouraged to attend.

Agenda Includes:

  • Meet and greet
  • Short presentation on Campus Sustainability Self-Study and Sustainability Education
  • Short presentation on Environmental and Sustainability Studies certificate
  • Brainstorming and small-group discussions  on paths forward for sustainability education at Purdue
