Applied Biosystems Voyager DE Pro:
MALDI-ToF analysis of intact, non-volatile compounds up to 100,000 m/z.

Applied Biosystems / MDS Sciex 4800:
MALDI-ToF/ToF instrument with MS/MS capability for compound characterization and identification.

Agilent 5975C GCMS:
Quadrupole mass spectrometer with gas chromatograph, ionization by EI, CI, and NCI for volatile compounds up to 1000 m/z.

Agilent 6550 LC-MS/MS:
Q-ToF mass spectrometer with nanoflow LC and ion funnel technology for increased sensitivity and reduced limit of detection. MS/MS and MRM capabilities along with high resolution (50,000) and accurate mass (< 5 ppm) detection. Mass range up to 10,000 m/z.

Advion ExpressION CMS
Walkup instrument located in DRUG 140A. Only available to users with card swipe access to DRUG. Single quadrupole instrument with electrospray ionization. Also capable of direct analysis of TLC plates. APCI ionization available upon request. For compounds up to 2000 m/z. To get access to this instrument please submit a training request through iLab.


Wetherill Chemistry Building (WTHR 144, 150, 151)

Thermo Fisher Element 2 ICP-MS:
High resolution double focusing magnetic sector instrument for elemental analysis including trace levels. Equipped with an autosampler and an Aridus II desolvating nebulizer for enhanced sensitivity and reduced interferences.

HP 5989 GCMS:
Quadrupole mass spectrometer with gas chromatograph, ionization by EI and CI for volatile compounds up to 1000 m/z. Equipped with a direct insertion probe as an alternative means of sample introduction.

Agilent 6320 LC-MS/MS:
Ion trap instrument equipped with LC along with ionization by ESI or APCI. MSn capability for compound characterization. For non-volatile compounds up to 50,000 m/z.

Thermo Fisher Orbitrap Classic FTMS:
High resolution (100,000) and accurate mass (< 5 ppm) measurements with ionization by ESI or APCI. MS/MS for compound characterization.
