Decision Making

Systems integrity research aims to identify control and management principles that optimize performance under constraints. Our studies have revealed numerous decision-making strategies for optimizing performance:

-Air transportation simulations have computed capacity enhancement trajectories and time-scales required to prevent saturation of future air transport system

-Bio-terrorist simulations have indicated that a rapid, decisive response limits the effectiveness of the attack by preventing the spread of the disease, limiting the number of peopleexposed

-Assessments of impact from the multiplicity of perspectives among participants in human-machine system-of-systems
