Engage Nature has been sponsored by Duke Energy to put on FREE nature camps this summer. We have a full K-5 camp but are still looking for participants for our 6-12th grade camp.

Youth grades 6-12 (some younger admitted) will be exposed to natural resource research and careers, as well as local nature organizations and places. Camps will be 8am-3pm August 4-5 at Clegg Garden and then Wildcat Creek Park. Register by emailing info@engage-nature.org or calling Becca at 815-919-1311. Only a few spots available to whomever registers first! Activities include researching river ecosystems, bird ecology, floating down the Wildcat River with NICHES, and practicing mindfulness in nature.
