Purdue Agriculture AgBOT Challenge – May 16-18, 2019
Join us for three days of innovative technologies, international competition, and interactive events.
Thursday, May 16, 2019 • NextGen Expo 10:00am – 4:00pm
Join us at the Purdue Agronomy Center for Research and Education (ACRE) to learn about innovative technologies changing agriculture and meet the teams competing in the 2019 agBOT Challenge. Engage with interactive exhibitors including industry, farm management, agronomy, robotics, crop production, soil health, engineering, botany, computer science, AI, weed science, rural broadband and more!

Friday, May 17, 2019 • Weed & Feed Competition
Watch teams of agricultural innovators from universities, high schools and industry showcase autonomous robots that manage crops! These agBOTS navigate rows of corn, identify plants, deliver fertilizer, eradicate weeds and provide real-time observation.
Saturday, May 18, 2019 • Mining for Microflora & Microfauna Competition
We challenged teams to create an agBOT that can gather soil samples and prepare them for diagnostic evaluation of microorganisms. Watch these autonomous robots accurately maneuver to soil sections while providing real-time observation of movement, location and collection.
