The Center for Science of Information invites undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral scholars with interest in cross-disciplinary approaches to research and data science to participate in our 7thh annual summer research workshop.

The spirit of this workshop is to lower barriers allowing bridging of disciplines through data science and information methods. Students will learn data science techniques using the R platform led by Dr. Mark D. Ward, and collaborate on research projects, gaining an introduction to the methods and tools of another field of study. Student teams will have access to funding opportunities from the Center for continued collaboration efforts during 2018-2019.
