On behalf of Discovery Park, please join us on Thursday, April 12th at 7:30 pm at the Fowler Hall in Stewart Center to hear Discovery Park Distinguished Lecture Series seminar speaker, William McKibben present the talk entitled, Hot Times: Reports from the Front Lines of the Climate Fight. William McKibben is the Schumann Distinguished Scholar at Middlebury College and Founder and Senior Advisor at 350.org. He’s an American environmentalist, author, and journalist who has written extensively on the impact of global warming. In 2014 he was awarded the Right Livelihood Prize. His 1989 book The End of Nature is regarded as the first book about climate change for a general audience.
