CATV DC Round-table Debrief Workshop

Purdue Policy Research Institute
February 19, 2018
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
WALC 3122

Description

PPRI recently hosted a roundtable discussion in Washington DC with legislators, industry leaders, and leading academic experts which guided us to identify key policy focus areas – safety, algorithm ethics, and labor/workforce.

On February 19th, we’ll provide a quick overview of current ethical, legal and social issues (ELSI) for CATVs, a debrief of the DC discussion, and an overview of the AV START bill policy analysis. We’ll engage campus leaders in the area of CATV on the major ELSI issues, as well as what topics they feel need the most attention. With this info, we’ll start organizing workshops to bring some of the best minds in research, industry, and policy together to start making roadmaps to address these concerns.
