Andrew Whelton, an associate professor of civil engineering and of environmental and ecological engineering, has received a Rapid Response Research grant from the National Science Foundation to monitor water quality in buildings while many are closed because of COVID-19. He is one of the faculty members featured in a recent Sponsored Program Awards listing.
