MARCH-APRIL 2018 |

Single Sign-On with a Purdue Career Account

Training for research regulatory affairs typically involves a training course administered by Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI). Previously, users accessing CITI from Purdue were required to establish a separate username and login. Beginning soon, users from Purdue will be able to use their Career Accounts to sign in to the CITI Program to take training in all courses. Existing users with CITI logins will be able to link accounts for future use. Please watch the Purdue Research Regulatory Affairs website for instructions on this transition.

Course Options for Human Subjects Research Training

The Human Research Protection Program will be streamlining training options to include two options for users to complete. Those seeking training on human research protections will choose between a biomedical and social/behavioral research focus. In most cases, users will not be required to retake courses unless additional modules of training are required or training certifications are past the five-year expiration date. For assistance with training, contact irb@purdue.edu.
