Franciscan St. Elizabeth is our sponsoring hospital, but we work closely with both the IU Health and Franciscan Networks, as well as with all other health care providers and care facilities in the area.
In the Greater Lafayette Community, Prompt is the only acute transport service that is available 24/7 other than Tippecanoe Emergency Ambulance Service, the county run E-911.
Prompt provides EMS services for public events such as the County Fair and the Mosey Down Main Street, as well as for faith based and not for profit organizations hosting 5k/10K events, festivals, etc. We also provide EMS Services for racing events and any event that requires medical response.
Prompt Central has its own State Certified Prompt Institute of Paramedicine, where we provide instruction and certification for aspiring EMTs and Paramedics. Many Purdue students have worked for Prompt over the years, and we welcome those who want to pursue employment and career opportunities in the field of EMS.
