Nutrition - A registered dietitian can separate facts from fads and explain the latest scientific findings into easy to understand nutrition information. Dietitians help promote good health through proper eating. Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health offers individualized and group nutrition counseling to meet your nutrition goals by working with you to develop a plan that fits your lifestyle. A physician referral is needed to make an appointment. Palliative Care Team - Provides Consultation for hospitalized patients, to assist with support and symptom management for chronic and/or life-limiting illnesses. Also, assists with Goals of Care and Advance Care Planning.  Provides end of life care for all ages and all cancer diagnosis (skilled nurses, social workers, aides, spiritual care, volunteers and bereavement services). Physical Therapy- Outpatient physical therapy can help decrease pain, improve mobility and assist the patient with maintaining as active a lifestyle as possible. 765-423-6885

Lymphedema Therapy: Lymphedema is a swelling of a body part, most often an arm or a leg, caused by the abnormal accumulation of lymph fluid. Lymphedema therapy helps relieve this often painful swelling that can result from trauma, surgery, infection, disease or other factors. We have an experienced lymphedema team consisting of three nationally certified lymphedema therapists trained to treat any involved body part. Speech Therapy -The ability to communicate and understand others is vital to independence. Speech Language Pathologists are trained in the techniques designed to improve speech, language, and cognitive disorders. Meals on Wheels of Greater Lafayette carries on a proud tradition of bringing hot and nutritious meals to individuals who have challenges getting meals on their own. Meals on Wheels works with IU Health hospital to prepare delicious and healthy meals. As a United Way agency, we also work closely with many other organizations to make sure food insecurity and safety needs are being met in a comprehensive manner.  We work on a 5 week rotating menu with 2 entrée choices & 4 side choices everyday.  Each client customizes their menu.

Patient Navigation Services available for those diagnosed with Breast or Cervical Cancer once enrolled into the program. Cancer Wellness Program available as described in Nutrition and Wellness section. Funding provided for Mammograms, Pap tests and other diagnostic services/treatment related to breast and cervical cancers provided at no charge for eligible women. Referrals to volunteer wound care nurses that work with clients enrolled in our program to provide dressing changes and wound care assistance. Wound care supplies in limited quantities available to clients with breast cancer once enrolled in our program.
