A fitter works with clients to find the best shape and size.  They offers post mastectomy camisoles , surgical bras, prosthesis, wigs, hats, and much more.  They recommend you come in for fitting prior to breast cancer surgery.    They also specialize in Home Health Care products such as: canes, crutches, power operated vehicles, hospital beds, and a variety of other products.

The center’s main service area is Tippecanoe and the five surrounding counties, but it is certified to provide services to anyone in U.S. through Medicare. Private insurance is also accepted; a physician’s prescription is required.

Our services are available Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm. A registered nurse can be reached 24 hours, seven days a week for emergencies and after hour inquiries. Our service area includes Benton, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe and Warren counties.

IU Health Home Care services are delivered by highly trained medical professionals including nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, medical social workers, dietitians, pharmacists and respiratory therapists. Our home care team works closely with each other as well as many area physicians to achieve goals set by the patient, caregivers and staff.

All Great Clips salons in the U.S. and Canada provide complimentary clipper cuts to customers facing hair loss due to cancer treatments through our Clips of Kindness® program. It's a small gesture in the big fight against cancer. But, it's Great Clips’ way of trying to make things just a little better.

This Program is a program through the American Cancer Society, and the lines are open 24/7 to help with your questions.  This is a free service for women who are currently undergoing treatment for a cancer diagnosis (chemotherapy, radiation therapy or other forms of treatment), Look Good Feel Good is designed to help women gain the skills and confidence for increased independence in personal appearance. Patient Navigation Services available for those diagnosed with Breast or Cervical Cancer once enrolled into the program. Cancer Wellness Program available as described in Nutrition and Wellness section. Funding provided for Mammograms, Pap tests and other diagnostic services/treatment related to breast and cervical cancers provided at no charge for eligible women. Referrals to volunteer wound care nurses that work with clients enrolled in our program to provide dressing changes and wound care assistance. Wound care supplies in limited quantities available to clients with breast cancer once enrolled in our program.

Program serves 23 Indiana counties. Spanish speaking staff available. “ The YWCA does not provide medical advise, consultation or direct medical care. All referrals are made for informational purposes only.”

In partnership with Purdue University Department of Health and Kinesiology; a fitness program to improve the quality of life of cancer survivors is offered at various times throughout the year. For class schedule and registration contact the YWCA.
