TRANSFER CREDIT INQUIRY & SYLLABI SUBMISSION

The Credit Evaluation team at Purdue manages all incoming non-Purdue credit for undergraduate students. This includes transfer from another institution, AP, IB, CLEP, A-level, and other assorted exam credit. This does not include Study Abroad or Purdue Credit by Exam. Inquiries for questions about your transfer credit or how to get a transfer course evaluated for equivalency, can be accessed below.

Please upload syllabi for transfer courses that need to be evaluated for equivalency to Purdue courses. Some syllabi can be evaluated by the Credit Evaluation team; others must be evaluated by the Academic Department for equivalency. Those that are evaluated by the Academic Department take longer and the length of evaluation time varies by the time of year. Course Syllabi evaluations may take up to 12 weeks.

    • Depending on the time of the year, it can take up to 12 weeks for transcript evaluations to be complete. If you submitted your transcript any time from early May through August, please be patient and allow the full 12 weeks before inquiring as we evaluate transcripts in the order we receive them. Transcripts submitted from September through April are usually evaluated within 7-10 days.
    • Due to the sheer volume of transcripts needing evaluation throughout the summer months, we cannot respond to inquiries about whether your transcript has been received and when it will be evaluated.
