Short Title: Digital Telecommunictn
Description: This is an advanced course in digital communications concepts and applications. Digitalization of analog signals, modulation of digital signals, signaling techniques, multiplexing and protocols are investigated. Applications of transport technologies utilizing underlying digital communication protocols are discussed. Transfer of digital information through diverse communication media is emphasized. Practical application of the technologies and protocols are investigated in the laboratory.
