Become a CPR/FA/AED Instructor

The primary purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor course is to train instructors to teach the basic level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses.

This class is a blended learning class and requires online and on-site learning sessions.  Registered participants will be sent instructions to access online learning portal to email account on file prior to class start date.

CPR/FA/AED Instructor Certification Requirements:

  • Be at least 16 years of age

  • Possess current American Rec Cross basic level certification in First Aid and Adult and Pediatric CPR and AED, or equivalent certification

  • Successfully complete the online Introduction to the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor course prior to the Precourse Skills Session

  • Successfully complete the Precourse Skills Session
