Boiler Kids Camp Announcement for Summer 2024:
It is with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the expansion of the Boiler Kids Camp, an interactive and educational day camp catering to children aged 5 to 12.
Boiler Kids Camp is set to expand significantly, adding a total of 210 additional spots over the course of the 7-week summer session. This expansion underscores our commitment to providing a safe, enjoyable, and enriching environment where children can engage in a diverse array of activities, including rock climbing, swimming, arts, crafts, and more.
We express our sincere gratitude to First Lady Kei Hui for her steadfast commitment to advocate for the lives of Purdue families and nurturing the well-being of our children. Together, we celebrate this pivotal moment and eagerly anticipate fostering an even stronger sense of community and enrichment at Boiler Kids Camp.
In alignment with our focus on Purdue families, the additional spots will be reserved exclusively for Purdue faculty, staff, alumni, and students. These additional openings will be allocated from the waitlist.

In order to qualify for the member pricing, parents must be active members of RecWell. Membership must stay active through the summer in order to receive discounted camp pricing. RecWell membership must be 4-month, 12-month or recurring deduction membership.
No, only students who are 12 year old or younger and/or going into 6th grade are eligible for BKC.
No, children must be 5 years old to participate in BKC.
You will be sent an email with a link to the waiver information a few weeks after registering. All campers must be registered in BoilerBase. Information on how to do this will be contained in the email.
Regardless of RecWell membership status, all guardians and children will need to have an account in our membership software (Fusion) in order to register for the program.
In order to make your registration go smoothly, you will want to do this before Monday, February 28th, 2024. Spaces are limited and we expect this summer to fill up quickly. Previous attendance at Boiler Kids Camp does not guarantee space in camp. A waitlist will be available as sessions fill.

No, in order to receive member pricing, you must have an active long term membership (4 month, annual or recurring deduction).
Try using Firefox or Google Chrome. The Member Portal is not compatible with other browsers. We recommend Desktop/Laptop rather than Cellular Devices when registering and creating accounts.
The only way you can pay for camps is one whole week at a time. You cannot register for half days, individual days or partial weeks. You can purchase multiple weeks at the same time.
No, payment is due in full at the time of registration.
If you withdraw your child from camp before April 30th, you will receive a refund. Special circumstances may be considered by the Assistant Director of Camps if you must withdraw after April 30th, 2024. Withdrawals must be submitted in writing to Kiley Foss, kbfoss@purdue.edu.
