The aquatics and aquatics education program of the Division of Recreational Sports is dedicated to providing quality recreational, educational and certification programs to the Purdue University community. The Competition and Recreational Pools, located in the CREC, are the primary facilities for these programs and offerings.

Competition Pool

One of the premier aquatic facilities in the country. Designed in a dotted “I” configuration, we have 8 lane x 50 meter competition pool and a 6 lane 25 yard dive pool. The dive pool has springboards and a 10 meter tower. Home of the varsity men’s & women’s swimming & diving teams; club men’s & women’s water polo teams and training site for club triathlon and outing groups. It is also a great place to get a swimming workout or to enjoy the 1m diving boards.

The Recreational Pool is a great place to relax and have fun. The shallow warm water of the recreational pool provides alternative swimming opportunities. You can also watch TV while relaxing in the spa or pool too! We also offer fitness classes and swimming lessons.
