Purdue University -

The radiology department at PUSH provides general diagnostic x-rays to the Purdue community. Radiology has recently renovated their department, now consisting of two diagnostic x-ray rooms and the installation of computerized radiography.

X-Ray Copies

Purdue Radiology will hold all x-rays for seven years. Patients interested in receiving copies of their x-rays may do so for a minimal fee. All x-ray copies are made to a CD with built-in software, allowing for easy viewing for both patients and other medical providers. In order to obtain x-ray copies, patients must fill out a Medical Release Form, which is available at the radiology department or can be downloaded here. Please indicate what study(s) are to be released and to whom they are being released to. Downloaded forms that are sent to PUSH via fax or mail must also include a witness signature and date. X-ray copies may be picked up at the radiology department during regular business hours, or mailed to the appropriate recipient.

Fees are charged for all services provided in Radiology. However, payment is not required at the time of service. Patients or their insurance companies will be billed for any incurred fees following their visit. Fees may change if costs to PUSH increase/decrease. (Please note: the Radiologist’s reading fee is included in all charges). Click here for the most common fees for x-ray exams.

Please Note: Purdue University requires that students be academically encumbered if health fees are not paid by the 25th of the month after receiving a bill from Accounts Receivable.

Radiology is staffed by radiologic technologists. A radiologist visits the facility daily to read the x-rays and dictate the results.
