To support the overall well-being and development of Purdue students and other members of the campus community by providing high quality medical, mental health, and wellness education services, and in doing so support the mission of the University.

Vision

The Purdue Student Health Center will be the students’ healthcare provider of choice. We will be an accredited model of excellence in providing multi-dimensional health, counseling, and wellness services, designed to help Purdue students pursue their academic and life goals.

Values

Student Focus

Students are our highest priority. By providing early and ongoing attention to both mental and physical health concerns, we strive to optimize students’ educational experiences through graduation.

Quality Healthcare

We provide personalized medical and mental health services which meet or exceed contemporary standards of care. This is accomplished through compassionate, empathic and caring medical, mental health, and health promotion services designed to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic campus community.

Collaboration

We work together with colleagues within the health center and across campus to achieve positive health outcomes for our students.

Empowerment

We encourage and educate students to become full participants in maintaining and enhancing their mental and physical well-being.

Diversity

We recognize, appreciate, and welcome the diverse perspectives, values, and needs of others. We strive to provide a caring environment where patients of all backgrounds and orientations are respected and acknowledged.

Integrity

We treat others with truthfulness, courtesy, fairness, and sincerity in an environment of trust and non-judgmental support.

Accessibility

We offer high quality healthcare, mental health services, and wellness education services that are timely, accessible and affordable for all students.

Stewardship

We use our resources efficiently and wisely in order to give students maximum return on the dollars they invest in their health care.
