Plant-based nutrition (I hold a certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies), autism and women’s health.
Length of time at PUSH?
Before coming to PUSH in 2022, I worked as a nurse in the emergency room for three years and as a Nurse Practitioner. I’ve worked in internal medicine/pediatrics and family medicine for 2.5 years.
Why do you like working at PUSH?
I enjoy the diversity at PUSH as well as the learning environment that Purdue University offers. I enjoy working with young patients and spending time on health education, lifestyle medicine and primary prevention.
Philosophy of Care:
With each patient encounter, my goal is to look at the entire patient. I think listening is a very important skill to have in the clinical setting. My priority is to ensure you feel heard and cared for during your time with me at PUSH.
What do you like to do when you’re not at PUSH?
I enjoy running, doing yoga, traveling, going to the beach and spending time with family.
One Sentence Fun Fact:
I studied abroad in New Zealand for six months when I was completing my undergraduate degree. It was amazing!
