Changing Landscapes

Changing Landscapes features drawings, collage, and mixed media pieces by artists Zaria Forman, Matthew Shelley, and Amy Alice Thompson. The collective works inspire and contribute to conversations about environmental and geographical shifts, with an emphasis on human contributions to or interpretations of the landscape.

Natural Places, a NICHES Anniversary Celebration

March 10 at 12:00 PM - April 02, 2015 at 7:00 PM

NICHES Land Trust is a regional environmental non-profit organization that has created over 2800 acres of nature preserves along the Wabash River. NICHES is celebrating their 20th Anniversary in 2015 with a year-long celebration throughout their service area.

Artist Glenn Chang has been contracted to create a series of 20 photos depicting NICHES Land Trust preserves throughout the seasons. These will be displayed throughout the celebration, traveling to various venues after the initial showing at the Purdue Fountain Gallery. Rensselear artist Bonnie Zimmer will also be featured, creating a natural materials installation in the space that will complement Chang’s photos.

Join us for a reception in Fountain Gallery. Artists Glenn Chang and Bonnie Zimmer will discuss their works in the exhibit. Featuring an ensemble from the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra.
